Attention 5th-8th grade girls!
Basketball tryouts are coming up. Here is what you need to know:
In order to tryout you must:
1. Complete this registration form https://forms.gle/n1DK4c3JSK6kn7K26
2. Turn in all sports waivers (available for pick up in the office)
3. Have a valid sports physical on file with the office (less than 395 days old).
A fee of $50.00/student will be charged for all students that are rostered for the team. This fee will be due before the first game of the season. This one time fee will cover all athletics for the school year.
Tryout Information
**Athletes should attend all of the following:
Open Gyms:
Wednesday, September 2nd
Tuesday, September 8th
Thursday, September 10th
All open gyms will be from 3:00-3:45 pm in the GMS gym. Each girl needs to try to attend at lease one open gym.
Tryouts:
September 14th AND 15th from 3-5 pm in the GMS gym.
You must attend both tryouts to be considered for the team.
We will work around GMS softball players' schedules for tryouts.
Extra Information
The team roster will be posted in Class Dojo on Sep. 15th after tryouts are over. This will be sometime after 6pm.
The first practice will be Wednesday, September 16th from 3:30-5:30pm. A practice and game schedule will be given out on this day.
There will be a mandatory parent meeting will be on Thursday, September 17th in the GMS library from 5:45-6:15pm.
