Starting with the week of October 4, 2013, we began a new program honoring Mrs. Ohlman, who was the principal of Marquette Elementary School during 1966-1985. One student in our school is chosen to be “Student of the Week”. The student is chosen by their teacher. Each week, a different class and grade has the honor of selecting one student. The student will have their picture taken and placed in the plaque in the front foyer.

I think I have the perfect student for this week This student has been working so hard in class this year They are a hard worker and try their best every day They will do anything that is asked of them They are respectful to others and will always be there to help them out They already have more than half of their AR goal My student of the week is .............................. |

We are so excited that Azalea was chosen as our next "Golden Rule Student of the Week"! Here is what Mrs. Miller had to say about her... I was so excited to pick a student of the week this week. I had a hard decision to make. Who should I pick? I chose a student who is always a good example of being respectful, responsible, and ready to learn. This student is always the first one to get in line quietly. She gets out her supplies and is ready to learn quickly. She is always respectful and remembers to raise her hand and not talk out! I love having her in my Superhero class! Congratulations Azalea on being our Student of the Week. |

We are so excited that Ellie was chosen as our next "Golden Rule Student of the Week"! Here is what Mrs. Russell had to say about her... I am so excited to choose our student of the week! This student is respectful, responsible, and ready to learn. She chooses to do the right thing, even when no one is looking, and always follows the golden rule. This girl is a great friend to others and is always smiling! She wants to be successful, participates in class, and tries her best! She has been working so hard to get her work done on time. She is getting more confident each day. She has a positive attitude and brightens up our classroom every day! I am so lucky to have Ellie in my class!
