Enhance the Future Scholarship Application
Enhance the Future Scholarship
The Enhance the Future Scholarship is for Pekin High School seniors who graduate during the 2024-25 school year (mid-year or end-of-year) who attended North Pekin-Marquette Heights School District 102 for, at least, six (6) years and who will be attending an accredited college, university or trade school. Students who attended District 102 Schools who still live within the District 102 boundaries, but will be graduating from a different high school may still apply for consideration. This scholarship is an ongoing project originally established by Mr. David Perkins, a retired District 102 teacher.
If chosen, a scholarship of $500 will be awarded to recipients. Recipients are selected by a committee of District 102 current and/or retired staff members. This is a competitive scholarship. A presentation of scholarship recipients is planned to be made at the Georgetowne Middle School graduation at the end of the school year in May.
To apply, a student must complete the Enhance the Future Scholarship application at: https://forms.gle/heLZHwyPLRE8HRNe9
Completed applications will be accepted through March 21, 2025.
This scholarship is completely funded by donations from past/present educators and the community. The Marquette Heights Men’s Club annually commits a portion of its funds to helping cover the cost of multiple scholarships. The scholarship has become a recognized tradition for District 102 and the community. If you would like to help out and contribute to this scholarship fund, your support is very much appreciated. Any amount is helpful in assisting us with recognizing our scholars. Checks should be made to the Marquette Heights Men’s Club. Please note “EFS” on the memo line of the check. Checks should be delivered to the District 102 office or mailed to:
