ACCELERATED READER!!

Reading every night at home with your child can help them make their AR goal that much sooner without having crunch time at the end of the quarter. Students should be reading 2-3 books a week.

SIGHT WORDS

PRACTICE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE even though we are done learning new sight words. We have 220 words that everyone should know by the end of the year.

Mathematics: Word problems

Reading: Story- The Easter Bunny's Assistant. We will work on comprehension skills. Feel free to listen to this book at home throughout the week and discuss it with your child!

Writing:  Adding more pages to our personal narratives while adding more details to our stories and pictures.

Phonics: -oo words

Grammar: Contractions, putting them together and separating them into 2 words as well as writing them.
