Homework this week is a spelling worksheet and a math worksheet as well as reading AR books every night. Students should be reading AR book even if they have made their goal. Keep practicing math facts and sight words as you can!

Mathematics: Learning how to incorporate number bonds with dimes and pennies as well as adding 10 to 2 digit numbers.

Reading: Story- How I Became a Pirate. We will work on comprehension skills. Feel free to listen to this book at home throughout the week and discuss it with your child!

Writing:  We will continue working on our fictional writing. Stories are coming along great! We will hopefully have them wrapped up by the end of the week

Phonics: Vowel teams, and bonus letters!

Grammar: We will begin learning about possessive nouns.
