MARQUETTE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL STUDENT OF THE WEEK

Starting with the week of October 4, 2013, we began a new program honoring Mrs. Ohlman, who was the principal of Marquette Elementary School during 1966-1985.  One student in our school is chosen to be “Student of the Week”.  The student is chosen by their teacher. Each week, a different class and grade has the honor of selecting one student.  The student will have their picture taken and placed in the plaque in the front foyer.

Alana was chosen as the "Golden Rule Student of the Week" for May 20-24.
This is what Mrs. Weinberg and Mrs. Lisa had to say about her:

Mrs. Lisa and I chose this student of the week because she is always smiling. She is such a good helper and has been working so hard in kindergarten. Her joy is contagious! She is always willing to try something new and is extremely creative. She reminds us of sunshine on the cloudy days.
That is why we chose Alana to be the student of the week.

Analeigh was chosen as the "Golden Rule Student of the Week" for May 13-17, 2019

Listen up, kids! Lend me an ear!

I want to tell you about someone that will make you cheer!

This helpful young lady is as sweet as can be,

She works very hard and listens to me!

She is a very good friend, Always happy and kind,

I can count on her when I'm in a bind.

So put your hands together I am sure you will agree,

Our student of the week is none other than ANALEIGH!

Bailey was chosen as the "Golden Rule Student of the Week" for May 6-10, 2019.
This is what Miss Jackson had to say about her:

This week’s student of the week has worked so hard all school year and has made some really great improvements. She is always doing the right thing and she is always getting her work done. She is one of the best helpers in class and is a great friend to everyone. I am definitely going to miss her in class next year but I know she will be just as great in 2nd grade. That’s why I chose Bailey Kinney as my student of the week. Congratulations Bailey, keep up the awesome work!

Wyatt was chosen as the "Golden Rule Student of the Week" for April 20-May 3.
This is what Mrs. Clark had to say about him:

I am so excited to get to choose a student of the week!  This boy has worked so hard this year!  He loves to learn and wants to do his best work all the time.  He is a great friend and helper too!  I can always count on him to offer to help me when I need anything. He listens and always raises his hand to answer questions.  If a friend needs help or a kind word he is there for them too!  I am so thankful Wyatt Ray was in my class this year!
