Special Education Teacher - Marquette Elementary

Serve as the teacher and case manager for K-1 students. Collaborate with paraprofessionals and teachers of general education to ensure accommodations are appropriately implemented for individual students. Participate as an active member of the IEP team, including drafting and oversight of individualized education plans. Progress monitor students and maintain accurate records on progress towards goals. Implement district approved special education interventions.

Professional Educators License with LBS1 endorsement.

District #102's salary is regionally competitive and the district offers a solid benefits package. Final salary will be determined per the collective bargaining agreement. Minimum starting salary for the 2024-2025 school year is $46,455.

Science Teacher - Georgetowne School

Georgetowne Middle School is seeking a dynamic, energetic Middle School Science Teacher who maintains a positive learning environment, holds high academic expectations, and creates a student-centered classroom while building rapport with students, parents and staff. We are looking for exceptional candidates who will assist our schools in creating an outstanding learning community where everyone seeks and implements strategies for improving student achievement and growth. This position currently includes 7th and 8th grade Science, as well one section of 7th grade Math.

Current Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with the following endorsements:

Science
Middle School
Preference will be given to those also holding or willing to obtain a Math endorsement

6th Grade Teacher - Georgetowne School

North Pekin Marquette Heights School District 102 is seeking a dynamic 6th grade teacher for the 2024-2025 school year. Preference will be given to those with an ELA or Math endorsement or those willing to obtain them. The ideal candidate will join a collaborative group of educators to enhance the learning and development of students. A quality teacher is expected to plan, organize and implement an appropriate, standards-aligned instructional program. Georgetowne Middle School serves approximately 230, 4th-8th grade students.

Substitute Teacher Vacancies

District 102 is in need of additional substitute teachers.  Substitute teachers must possess the appropriate licensure from the state of Illinois.  To inquire about obtaining a substitute teacher certificate, contact the Regional Office of Education #53 which serves Tazewell, Mason and Woodford Counties at 309-477-2290.  For individuals who already possess the required licensure and are interested in substituting at District 102, contact Patty Crank in the district office at 309-382-2172 to learn more about applying.
