Each year District 102 Schools look forward to partnering with the Marquette Heights and North Pekin Fire Departments to collect non-perishable food items. The fire departments use the food to put together baskets for families in our local community.
Students at Marquette Elementary run a contest to determine the class with the most donations. Each food item donated is worth 1 point, but we also have a bonus food item each day. Bonus items are worth 5 points each. The bonus items schedule is listed below if you want to plan your shopping ahead of time.
Students at Rogers and Georgetowne will also be collecting food. Check with each building for details.
