Overcoming Distractions

In his recent blog post author Jon Gordon describes sea turtles being distracted by artifical light sources rather than following the pure light of the moon (click here for a copy of tha post).  It is especially easy at this time of the year to be distracted by the many material things that modern life can bring.  Students have often times "take their eyes off the ball" or just lose focus for a short while.  I encourage you all to help your child maintain their focus on the goal - being the best student they can be.  There are lots of distractions this time of the year for kids, it takes an adult to remind them to stay focused on being the best student they can be.  I wish you all a wonderful holiday season!
